Over the last 18 years, Sarah Long (Longshot Images) has been photographing enthusiastically as a commercial photographer predominately in Adelaide, South Australia and more recently Melbourne, Victoria.

Sarah started her photography career as an assistant overseas, honing her skills on her return to Australia and graduating with a Diploma of Visual Arts in 1993.
The transition from film to digital and ever changing technology and post production techniques has allowed Sarah to enjoy creative freedom and really work with images for them to reach their full potential.
Photographing mainly on location she is able to balance natural and artificial light sources to produce emotive imagery.

Her work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions in South Australia and won awards in the local advertising industry. She was selected as a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize in 2009 in Canberra. The exhibition traveled to all Eastern State capital cities. In 2013 she was a finalist in the Head Off Landscape Prize, which exhibited in Sydney and she was also as a finalist in the Emma Hack Art Prize 2014, Emma Hack Art Prize 2016

Sarah is passionate about her craft which ultimately shows through her imagery. She is also an accredited member of the AIPP.
